Dr. Rebecca Frenz joined the team at Apple Tree’s Mounds View Center for Dental Health in July 2021 as an Advanced Education in General Dentistry resident. She graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in spring of 2021, and prior to dental school, completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Regarding how she came to be interested in dentistry, Dr. Frenz said that she has always been passionate about public health and increasing access to health care, and she loves providing a comfortable and inclusive dental environment where each patient feels seen and heard. Her sister is also a dentist!
Dr. Frenz has a special interest in seeing pediatric patients, special needs patients, and patients who speak Spanish. She speaks Spanish proficiently and is almost done completing her Masters of Public Health degree through the University of Minnesota. Dr. Frenz belongs to the American Dental Association, the American Dental Education Assocation (ADEA), and the Midwest Race League Alpine Ski Racing Club. For volunteer work, she participates with Give Kids a Smile.
Originally from Mendota Heights, Dr. Frenz currently lives in Woodbury with her husband, Blake, and two cats. When she isn’t working, Dr. Frenz enjoys spending time with extended family, cooking, reading, and knitting, and a variety of athletic activities such as skiing, mountain biking, running, and yoga.
