Since April 2021, Apple Tree Dental has had a comprehensive Center for Dental Health located in the Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Now, the Fairmont Center has a new Center Director.
Melissa Durbin, the new Center Director, recently relocated from Eau Claire to Fairmont with her son, who will be attending high school. She was hired through a rigorous interview process and officially started as Apple Tree’s Fairmont Center Director on June 27. Durbin is Apple Tree Dental’s first Center Director who is also a Dental Therapist, a relatively new dental professional position not unlike a Certified Nurse Practitioner role.
