After more than a year of planning, filming, and editing, the new documentary “Uncovered: Minnesota’s Dental Crisis” premiered on TPT-PBS on February 7th. The project was generously funded by an anonymous Apple Tree Dental donor in order to help bring awareness to the lack of access to dental care for many Minnesotans. The documentary was produced, off-line edited, and narrated by John Whitehead, with supplementary drone footage supplied by Apple Tree’s own CEO, Dr. Michael Helgeson. The piece not only features Apple Tree, but other Critical Access Dental (CAD) providers in the state.
